Patricia "Pat" Dixon (previously Imler), age 69, of Watervliet, MI, passed away on January 20, 2024. Pat was born on May 10, 1954, in New Castle, DE, to the late James and Mary Palmiter. She was a beloved wife to Marty Dixon and a devoted mother to Amanda Imler-Ratliff (James), Donna Costner (Evans), Didi Scheuchner (Gerald), Michael Imler (Ginger), and Clint Imler (Ava) and special sister to Randy (Karen) Palmiter and the late Maryann (John) Lindt and Aunt to Maggie and Katie. Pat cherished her role as a grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, as well as many "adoptive" grandkids.
Patricia will be remembered for her beautiful light and her unwavering faith. She was a force of nature, bringing joy and love to all those around her. Pat had a generous spirit and opened her home to countless people in need. She was always there for her loved ones, always showing up when they needed her most. Her infectious laugh and wonderful smile brightened the lives of everyone she touched.
Throughout her career, Pat worked at Briarwood Apartments for nearly 30 years. She had a remarkable memory and remembered every tenant who lived there. Her dedication and warm personality made her a beloved member of the community.
A celebration of Pat's life will be held on February 17th at 12pm at her church home, Watervliet Free Methodist. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Watervliet Free Methodist Church in honor of Pat's memory. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Pat's family with cremation. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for her family.
Patricia Dixon will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loss is immeasurable, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
