Heidi’s life began July 21, 1976 in Plainwell, Michigan. She spent her lifetime in Southwest Michigan and called Watervliet home for most. She enjoyed playing bingo, trying her luck on scratch-off tickets, and going for rides. Her favorite past time was spending time with family especially her grandbabies.
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory which includes: her two children Dustin Goodson (Bryndle Smith) of Coloma and Amber Goodson (Jason Yates) of Benton Harbor; two grandchildren Skylar Goodson and Aubree Yates; her mom Tami (Gary) Newton; her dad Mike (Penny) Town; three siblings Mikel Town Jr, Troy (Krissy) Eaves, Sarah Town, and Paul Town; a grandmother Pauline Hunt; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Heidi died Sunday, June 16, at Spectrum Lakeland Watervliet Hospital. She is preceded in death by three grandparents Herb Newton, Mearle Hunt, and Frieda Town, and an uncle Herb Newton JR. Hutchins Funeral Home assisted Heidi’s family with cremation. A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, July 27, at Coloma American Legion at 2:00 PM.
