Jack’s life began November 13, 1950 in Paw Paw. Jack grew up in Coloma, graduating from Coloma High School. After high school he furthered his education in tool & die and went to work for Bosch. Outside of work you could find Jack riding his Harley, tending to his vegetable garden, and he was a gun collector. Jack was an active member of Truth Church in Paw Paw through ushering and was head of security.
Jack leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory which includes; his wife Sheila Hayhurst; son John N. Hayhurst of Stevensville; three grandchildren Jessie, Jacob, and Jeremy; mom Ethel Hayhurst of Coloma; three sisters Pat Vorce of Oregon, Jean Weaver of Georgia, and Linda Hayhurst of Coloma; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack died Tuesday, August 28. His dad John Hayhurst precedes Jack in death. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Jack’s family with cremation and a memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, September 8, at 11:00 AM at Truth Church in Paw Paw.
