John "Jack" Lee Hayhurst

Jack’s life began November 13, 1950 in Paw Paw.  Jack grew up in Coloma, graduating from Coloma High School.  After high school he furthered his education in tool & die and went to work for Bosch.  Outside of work you could find Jack riding his Harley, tending to his vegetable garden, and he was a gun collector.  Jack was an active member of Truth Church in Paw Paw through ushering and was head of security.

Jack leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory which includes; his wife Sheila Hayhurst; son John N. Hayhurst of Stevensville; three grandchildren Jessie, Jacob, and Jeremy; mom Ethel Hayhurst of Coloma; three sisters Pat Vorce of Oregon, Jean Weaver of Georgia, and Linda Hayhurst of Coloma; and several nieces and nephews.

Jack died Tuesday, August 28.  His dad John Hayhurst precedes Jack in death.  Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Jack’s family with cremation and a memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, September 8, at 11:00 AM at Truth Church in Paw Paw.  You may leave a message of comfort for Jack’s family at hutchinsfuneral.com
