Betty was born December 7, 1935 in Pocahontas, Arkansas.  She spent most of her lifetime in Southwest Michigan where she raised her large, loving family.  Betty worked for many years managing the Starlight Drive in on M-139 in Benton Harbor and she enjoyed playing cards and sewing.

Betty leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory which includes; five sons Jimmy (Carolyn) Freeman, Richard (Vicki) Freeman, Rodney (Kim) Freeman, Randy Freeman, and Charles (Tina) Freeman, 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, four siblings Darlene (Phillip) Gatchell, Linda (Chuck) Scott, Terry (Vicki) Head, and Pat Cox, and several nieces and nephews.

Betty died Monday, March 19, at Hanson Hospice Center in Lincoln Township.  Her husband Harrison Freeman, parents Carl and Minnie (Reel) Head, and three brothers Edward Head, James Head and Carl Head precede Betty in death.  Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, March 23 at 1:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 12:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Betty's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
