Bobby's life began November 24, 1949 in Blytheville, Arkansas. Bobby spent most of his life migrating between many states following the harvest. Throughout his life you could find him enjoying his family and old time country music.

Bobby leaves behind a large loving family to cherish his memory including; three children Sherry Johnson, Mechelle (James) Jouppi, and Bobby G. Johnson Jr (Rachel); his girlfriend Paula Barger; four step-children Brittney (David) Martin, Gary Zomant, Shawn Zomant, and Steven Zomant; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; six siblings Carol Yancey, Billy "Slick" Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Linda Colburn, Trisha Hall, and Kathleen Berryhill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby died Saturday, May 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kathryn Johnson, a daughter Angela Johnson, parents O.G and Euvelean (Huckabee) Johnson and two sisters Bonnie Johnson and Patsy Thomas. Visitation will be Friday, May 21st at 12 pm, service immediately following at 2 pm at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
