Brenda's life began June 4, 1959, in Watervliet. She was a lifetime area resident, graduating from Watervliet High School. After high school she went to work as an accounting clerk for Pri Mar in St. Joseph where she was employed for 36 years. Brenda loved being active and out doors especially playing softball and golf, she also loved to travel.

Brenda's greatest joy came in spending time with her loving family which includes her husband of 32 years Bob Stineman, two children Marcie Stineman of Watervliet and Lee (Crystal) Stineman of Jackson, two grandchildren Josiah Smith and Landon Stineman, her dad Claude Higginbottom, two brothers Donald Higginbottom and Claude Higgenbottom Jr, two sisters Becky (Ken) Rinks and Valarie (Chuck) Tucker, and many nieces and nephews.

Brenda died Wednesday, February 19. Her mom Joanne (Becht) Higginbottom and in-laws Howard and Virginia Stineman precede Brenda in death. Friends may visit with Brenda's family Friday, February 21 from 6-8 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet where funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, February 22 at 11:00 AM.
