Brenda's life began March 27, 1953 in Watervliet, MI.  She was a lifetime area resident who loved caring for her family.  Brenda was known for her green thumb and loved growing blue morning glories.  She also enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and collecting frogs.  Brenda was small yet feisty with a big heart, she always remembered the little things and saw the good in people.

Brenda's greatest joy was her family which includes: her fiancé of 25 years Jesse Edge; three children Cindy Mills (Kelly), Tabby (Brian) Wells, and Phillip (Chrissy) Wells; five step children Jessica (Bobby) Linn, Jenny (Guy) Hughes, Sam Edge, Tommy (Jena) Edge, and Tommy Edge; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters Sandy McCarley and Linda Peck; many nieces and nephews; and her close friends Debbie Sicurello-Wheaton, Connie Burgess, Kim Freeman, and many other friends

Brenda died Monday, May 08, 2017.  Her dad Clyde Reeves, mom Clara McCarley, a sister Tina McCarley, two brothers Eugene and Terry Reeves, her stepfather Hoyt McCarley, and her parents-in-law Ethel and Carl Brown precede Brenda in death.  Funeral services will be celebrated Monday, May 15 at 3:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 2:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Memorials may be made to Brenda's family.  You are invited to leave a message for Brenda's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
