Burt's life began May 30, 1956 in St. Joseph, Michigan.  He was a lifetime area resident who was a loving father, great friend, and a companion with a heart like no other.  Burt was a painter by trade and he also enjoyed yard work.  Burt loved being outdoors and couldn't get enough fishing, he also enjoyed old country music.

Burt's loving family includes: three children Margaret Winfield of Benton Harbor, Kyle Winfield of Three Oaks, and Eric Winfield of Sodus; three brothers Vencent Nail of Virginia, Derik Nail of Indiana, and Jeff Nail of Texas; three sisters Leslie Nail of Texas, Diania Nail of Indiana, and Auldry Springer of Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with Burt's family Saturday, March 19, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Burt will be cremated following visitation.  You are invited to share a memory with Burt's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
