Carole's life began August 4, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan.  She spent most of her lifetime in Southwest Michigan where she worked for 25 years at Lakeland Hospital in the Cafeteria. Carole loved coloring, going to church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her greatest joy was her family which includes: two children Carla (Christopher) Brady and David Ellis both of Benton Harbor; two grandchildren Kimberly Brady and Christin Brady both of Benton Harbor; and four great grandchildren Carmen Brady, Juliana Brady, Christopher Brady, and Maria Cleary.

Carole died Wednesday, November 21.  Her loving husband Carlon Ellis and parents Bertie and Leta Pauline (Bolin) Carty precede Carole in death.  A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, December 1, at 2:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 1:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
