Charlene's life began December 25, 1938, in Coldwater, Michigan. She grew up in Benton Harbor, graduating from Benton Harbor High School. Charlene loved caring for her family. She also enjoyed filling her time crocheting, reading, and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was being a loving mother to her daughter Lori (John) Corbin and grandmother to her three grandchildren Sarah Corbin, Johnny Corbin, and Matthew Corbin.

Charlene died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Whitcomb Towers in St. Joseph, Michigan. Charlene's husband Ed Taylor, dad Maurice Alderman, mom Kathleen (Russell) Taylor and step-father Larry Taylor precede her in death.

Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Charlene's family with cremation and a graveside service will be celebrated in the spring. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Charlene's family.
