Cheryl’s life began December 14, 1952 in St. Joseph during a snow storm according to her mother. She grew up in St. Joseph where she graduated high school. After high school she became a LPN and went to work for Mercy Hospital, then on to Cedarwood and Watervliet Community Hospital. At a bowling alley she met Ron Ketelhut, they married in 1985 and enjoyed 40 years of marriage. She and Ron enjoyed traveling the United States from cost to coast.

Cheryl loved her family which includes: her husband Ron Ketelhut; two sons Thomas Ketelhut and Danren Ketelhut; a grandson Wyatt Ketelhut; and several nieces and nephews.

Cheryl died Friday, March 20, at home surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Barbara (Theesfeld) Cooper and her brother Brad Cooper.

Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, March 27, with visitation at 11:00 AM followed by the service at 12:00 PM at Beautiful Savior Church Church in Benton Harbor. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials may be made in Cheryl’s memory to Corewell Hospice.
