David's life began October 4, 1950 in Benton Harbor, Michigan.  He grew up in Watervliet where he graduated high school.  After high school he attended technical school and worked for many years as a plant manager for aluminum factories.  Outside of work David enjoyed fishing and camping, he was a woodworker and enjoyed making knives.  David's greatest joy was spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

David leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory including; his wife of 30 years Sharon (Lageman) Norris, three children Mary Norris of Niles, Travis (Ellesse) Fleming of Highland, MI, and Curtis Fleming of Watervliet, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters Cherie Messinger and Cynthia Briseno, and several nieces and nephews.

David died Sunday, June 3, at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph.  His parents Earl and Norma (Dominy) Norris precede David in death.  Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, June 9, at 12:00 PM with visitation prior at 11:00 AM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Watervliet.  You are invited to leave a message of comfort for David's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
