Dawn (Arent) Mueller of Watervliet, MI went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2016.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, Dawn was devoted to her family and
found great happiness in spending time with them. Dawn was born on September 14,
1958 in Watervliet, MI to Philip and Jeanette Arent. Dawn spent her life in Southwestern
Michigan where she raised her two children, spent 16 years married to her soul mate, and
spent many afternoons with her granddaughter who brought her great joy. Dawn also
spent many happy times with numerous long-time friends. Dawn was a strong,
independent woman who worked hard to support her children. Dawn retired from the
Leco Corporation in May of 2016.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Jeff Mueller, children: Alexander Arent of Kalamazoo,
MI, Allissa (George) McManus of St. Joseph, MI, her granddaughter, Autumn, her
mother, Jeanette Arent of Niles, MI, and brothers: Gordon (Deborah), Jeffery (Michelle),
Christopher (Jacqueline), and Glenn (Rachel), along with several nieces and nephews.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Philip Arent.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 1pm at St. Joseph
Catholic Church in St. Joseph, MI. Those wishing to offer their condolences to the
family may do so one hour prior to the Mass at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Rose
Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Feeding America.
