Delores' life began December 28, 1930 in Watervliet, Michigan. Delores grew up in Watervliet and graduated from Watervliet High School, where she met the love of her life John "Jack" Bush. They enjoyed 68 years together loving their large family. Delores' favorite times were spent with her family. When she wasn't caring for them you could find her in the flower garden, putting photo albums together, or antiquing to find her next piece of furniture to refinish.

The most important thing in her life was her family which includes: four daughters Robin (George) Martell, Pamela (Dennis) Bradford, Susan Steigmeyer, and Jacqueline Coleman; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; a sister Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Delores died Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her husband John Bush, a son John Bush Jr, her parents William and Mildred Mishler, and 11 siblings. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Delores' family with cremation and a memorial service will be celebrated in the spring.
