Dennis' life began March 20, 1952, in St. Joseph, Michigan. He was a lifelong area resident who owned Denco Pool's in Stevensville for many years. He was also a great mechanic. His loving family includes his mom Dorothy Helen Steffey (Neubauer), four brothers Douglas Steffey, Philip Steffey, Gregory Steffey, and Glenn Steffey, Mike Froelich who was like a son to him, and his niece Nicole Steffey.

Dennis died Monday, January 19 from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. His dad Marvin Gail Steffey precedes him in death. A gathering to share memories of Dennis with his family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 27, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
