Earl Douglas Browers was born October 27 ^th , 1937 in Morley, Michigan. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1957, and served our country for many years. He began teaching at Lake Michigan College after the military, and grew to be respected by his students and colleagues. He was married to Ruthie Browers for 25 years, before she preceded him in death in 2017. Also preceding him in death was his mother, Flossie and father, William Browers, his son, Earl Jr., and 3 great-grandchildren. Surviving him, 4 of his children, Regina Reid, Bill Browers,Shelly Trout, and Barb Lender, 2 step children, Spencer and Johnny Bailey, 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Earl passed on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Friends may visit with Earl's family Tuesday, April 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet, Michigan. Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday, April 24th at 1:00 pm .
