Eleanor E. Frazier, age 94, of Watervliet, MI, passed away peacefully at home on July 29, 2020 surrounded by her three daughters. Eleanor was born in Petoskey Michigan September 30, 1925, the second of four children to Gladys and George Ford.
Eleanor graduated from Petoskey High School. After graduation she was employed with Kilwin's bakery, now Kilwin's Chocolate in Petoskey which gave her a lifelong passion for baking and candy making. It was something continued to the end of her life, always baking goodies and having others over for Sunday dinner. She passed this love of cooking on to her daughters.
On June 23, 1956 she married Elmer E. Frazier and they enjoyed thirty three years of marriage together until his untimely death on August 20, 1989.
She was preceeded in death by a sister Marjorie Plough, and two brothers, Robert Ford and James Ford.
Her loving family includes her three daughters, Barbara (George) Keller, Janet Frazier, and Judy (Tony) Janda. Eleanor leaves behind to cherish her memory grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Keller of Brighton MI, Sarah (Hannes) Ludewig of Stuttgart Germany, Anton Janda of Mattawan, and Alex (Britany) Janda of Portage and great grandchildren Braydon, Payton, Blake and Bryce Keller, Finley Janda and Elijah and Gabrielle Ludewig.
You may visit with Eleanor's family Friday, July 31, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet were funeral services will be celebrated Friday, July 31, at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Keeler Cemetery.
