Eleanor was a constant fixture in the Coloma and Watervliet communities where she was seen walking everywhere. Eleanor loved to walk and somedays would walk as far as Paw Paw or Kalamazoo, no matter the weather. She was a loving woman who enjoyed helping people and loved God. Eleanor was friendly to everyone who was lucky enough to cross her path.
Eleanor leaves behind a loving family which includes: two children Sharon Anderson of Coloma and Carl Widger of Ionia; five grandchildren; Christie Anderson, Jason Widger, Nathan Anderson, Tyler Hoffman, and Kayly Hoffman; two great grandchildren Vanessa Brown and Joshua Brown; a brother Lloyd (Sue); and two sisters Geraldine and Joana
Eleanor died December 22, at South Haven Health Care Center. She is preceded in death by Enoch Bevins the father of her children.
Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, January 1 at 2:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 1:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet. Burial will take place privately in Coloma Cemetery. You may leave a memory of Eleanor at hutchinsfuneral.com.
