Ellen's life began January 3, 1932 in Black Oak, Arkansas.  When Ellen was a teenager her family moved to Watervliet where she happily lived and raised her family.  Ellen's world was spending time with her loving family which includes; two children Barbara Smith and Raymond (Tamara) Howley, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a brother Leo (Trudy) Latham, a sister Mary (Marlon) Voisard, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ellen died Thursday, May 4.  Her loving husband John Howley, her parents Wally Latham and Bessie Ashley, daughter Brenda Lents and siblings Jay Latham, Dick Latham, and Jean Ashley precede Ellen in death.

Funeral services will be celebrated Monday, May 8, at 2:30 PM with visitation prior starting at 1:30 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  You may leave a message for Ellen's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
