Obituary
Ellen's life began July 16, 1925 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was a lifetime area resident who enjoyed caring for her family and playing Bingo. Ellen and her sister Lillian enjoyed doing bead work and crocheting together and then taking their items to sell at the flea market in the Fairplain Plaza. She also enjoyed bowling, was a member of the Women's Bowling Association and she volunteered for the Berrien County Sherriff Emergency Patrol.
Ellen's greatest joy came in spending time with her loving family which includes: four sons Frederick Haase of Benton Harbor, David (Linda) Haase of Watervliet, Bob Miller of Benton Harbor, and Richard (Monica) Miller of Watervliet; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; her caregiver and friend Michelle Harmon; a brother Elmer Roberts of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be celebrated Tuesday, April 5, at 12:00 noon with visitation prior starting at 10:00 AM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Watervliet. You may leave a memory for Ellen's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
