Elsie's life began January 20, 1924, in Turtle Lake, North Dakota. As a young woman she took a job as a nanny which brought her to Michigan. Elsie was a christian woman who loved to study her bible and play the piano and organ. She worked beside her husband at Megna Brothers Antenna - Vince Megna keeping books. Elsie enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family which includes: five chidren Rosemary (Marv) Winkel of South Haven, Vincent Megna Jr of Hartford, Jerry (Linda) Megna of Benton Harbor, Lila Megna of St. Joseph, and Jeff (Michele) Megna of Coloma; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; three sisters Norma Cooper of Coloma, Barbara Zarate of St. Augustine, FL, and Adeline Nielsen of Connecticut; a brother Harold Lentz of North Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.

Elsie died Thursday, April 30. Her loving husband Vincent Megna Sr., a granddaughter Tanya Megna, and her parents August and Barbara (Walcker) Lentz precede Elise in death. Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, May 7, at 12:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 11:00 AM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet, MI. Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens in Hagar Shores.
