Frank's life began March 9, 1920 in Reading, PA. Frank proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army and then during the Korean War in the United States Air Force. Frank worked as a steel worker for Carpenter Technologies in Reading, PA for many years. When his wife Helen became ill they moved to St. Joseph to be closer to his son James. In his younger years Frank enjoyed fishing, swimming, and shooting pool. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family which includes; two sons Robert Sokol of Las Vegas, NV and James (Laura) Sokol of St. Joseph, two grandchildren Steven (Sara) Sokol and Samantha Sokol, a sister Helen (Londi) Ciabattoni, and many nieces and nephews.

Frank died Sunday, May 18, at Pine Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Stevensville. His loving wife Helen, parents Joseph and Catherine Sokol, and four siblings Mike, Rose, Mary, and Annie precede Frank in death. Cremation has taken place and there will be no public services for Frank. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
