Geraldine Glass, 86, passed away at home on May 13, 2020, surrounded by her loved ones.

Gerry moved with her parents to Michigan in 1945. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School, class of 1951. She met and married Leo Glass in that same year.

Gerry was born on November 2, 1933 in Woodstock, Illinois, to Sanford and Georgia Sweet, who preceded her in death along with sons; Michael and Jeffery Glass, son-in-law; Tom Driscoll, siblings; 7 sisters and 3 brothers.

She is survived by daughters; Georgia (Bob) Otte, Susan Lampos and Pamela Driscoll, sons; Randy Glass and Frank Glass, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, sibling; Leona Brascher.

Over time Gerry worked at VM (Voice of Music) for 10 years, Clark Equipment for 4 years and retired from Gast Manufacturing after 23 years of service.  After retirement Gerry worked at Lake Michigan Catholic High School for 10 years.

Gerry was a devoted mother and loved being active. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren immensely. Gardening outside in her yard was a favorite, and her monthly outing with her breakfast group. "Grandma" was also known for her awesome apple pies and yummy homemade noodles! She was an animal lover and the family had many pets over the years. Most of all, she was a very giving person and loved by many.

Due to the current pandemic, a private family service and burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to Caring Circle, Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Ln., St. Joseph, MI 49085, or your favorite animal shelter.

Gerry's family would like to thank Dr. Madanguit, Hospice and her caregivers, Deb and Maria, for their care and support during this difficult time.
