Helen Krugman and her son Robert Krugman died Thursday, August 28, as a result of an accident.

Helen was born February 5, 1923 in Watervliet. She was a lifetime resident of Watervliet where she graduated from high school and raised her two children Robert and Lauren. Helen worked as a time keeper at Auto Specialties until she married Robert H. Krugman in 1945 and then she went to work helping him with the farm. Helen loved farming, flower gardening, and having people to the house.

Helen and Robert are survived by: a daughter/sister Lauren (Wayne) Hutson of Watervliet; three grandchildren/nieces and nephews Amanda (Armando) Salazar, Joel (Kelda) Hutson, No ë l (Christopher) Lowry; and 10 great grandchildren/grand nieces and nephews Helen, David , Sarah, Christopher, Josephine, Reid, Charlotte, Benjamin, Henry, and Moira.

They are preceded in death by their loving husband/father Robert H. Krugman.

Helen and Robert have been cremated and the family will hold a private service later with Rev. Wayne Hutson officiating. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting the family with arrangements. You may leave a memory of Helen or Robert for the family at hutchinsfuneral.com
