Howard's life began April 19, 1920, in Bainbridge Township. He was a lifetime area resident who enjoyed gardening and fishing. He provided for his loving family through farming and he worked at whirlpool. His greatest joy was spending time with his family which includes; his children Howard (Diane) Mundt, Helen (Allen) Loomis, John (Florance) Mundt, and Robert (Donna) Mundt, nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Howard died Saturday, June 27, at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. His loving wife Marilyn (Frazier) Mundt, parents Otto and Mable Mundt, two brothers Lester Mundt and Eugene Mundt, and two sisters Mary Jarvis and Agnes Renner. Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday, July 1, at 11:00 AM with visitation prior starting at 10:00 AM, at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
