Obituary

John's life began June 11, 1942 in Benton Harbor.  John was a lifetime Watervliet resident.  He retired from Menasha and had also worked for Twin City Container and the Watervliet Paper Mill.  He was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls.  When John wasn't cheering his teams to victory he enjoyed trivia games and music.  John enjoyed traveling, attending Hank Jr. and Etta James concerts and spending time with family.

John's family includes: four children Dave (Chris) Brule, Laurie Brule, and Lou (Dena) Brule all of Watervliet and Linda Frey of Coloma; five grandchildren Trisha, Stefanie, Casey, Melissa, and Virginia; 10 great grand children; four step-sons Chuck (Judy) Burress of Minnesota, Tom (Candy) Burress of Florida, Tim (Kathy) Burress of Michigan, James (Chris) Burress of Arizona; and a brother Joe Brule (Mary Cook)

John died Tuesday, November 19 at Lakeland Continuing Care Center in Berrien Center.  John is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Brule and parents Louis and Freda (Brown) Brule.

Funeral services will be celebrated Monday, November 25, at 2:00 PM with visitation prior from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Burial will follow in Watervliet Cemetery.
