Julie's life began July 18, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan.  She currently resided in South Haven.  Until she retired, Julie worked at DeGroot's in Coloma, from there she worked at Control Rubber Company in South Haven for 16 years, and at Speedway in South Haven.  When she wasn't working Julie's greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren.  She also liked trying her luck with lottery tickets, watching old movies, Investigation Discovery, and mystery shows on TV, and putting together puzzels.  Julie's loving family includes; two sons Stephan (Tricia) Cole of Hartford and Thomas Cole of Allegan, three grandchildren, her mom Joanne Bruff of Coloma, two brothers Jerry Bruff and Joe Bruff both of Coloma, a sister Janet (Randy) Kline of Coloma, and her significant other Al Newell of South Haven. Julie died unexpectedly Thursday, July 2, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.  She is preceded in death by her husband Stephen Cole and her father Jerry Bruff.  Funeral services will be celebrated Tuesday, July 7, at 12:00 PMwith visitation prior starting at 11:00 AM, at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Burial will follow in North Shore Memory Gardens.
