Obituary
Julie's life began June 11, 1960 in Watervliet. Julie was a life long area resident graduating from Watervliet High School. She worked at Telamon Corporation as a teacher. Outside of work she enjoyed bowling, racing, watching the races, camping, and collecting things; shoes, pigs, cookie jars, and cookbooks. Julie's greatest enjoyment was being with her loving family which includes: her husband Jeff, she married June 27, 1981; daughter Lisa (Dustin Shriver) Coffel from Niles; three siblings Jerry (Peggy) Hunt, Dale Hunt, and Debbie (Bob) Canniff; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Julie died Thursday, May 28, at Lakeland Medical Center St. Joseph. Her parents Gerald and Clara (Watts) Hunt and a stepbrother Eddie Hunt precede Julie in death. Friends may visit with Julie's family Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet where funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, June 4 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Watervliet. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Julie's family in care of her husband Jeff.
