On June 5, 1939, June was born to Leslie and Hilda (Smith) Revoir in Wexford County, Michigan. June grew up in Yuma, Michigan where she attended Yuma Elementary and graduated from Mesick High School. Later she continued her education at Sister Lakes Beauty College. In 1963 June came to Dowagiac to visit a friend, while here she met and fell in love with Joseph Schommer and they married in September of that year. They enjoyed many years together raising and enjoying their family. June enjoyed relaxing doing crossword puzzles and watching soap operas.

June's family includes her son Brian (Julie) Schommer, five grandchildren including her granddaughter and care giver Christianna (Nathan) Karlik, three sisters Joyce (Bill) Marsh, Rosemary (Sandy) MacDonald, and Linda (Ed) cooper, and many nieces and nephews.

June died Sunday, August 25, 2024, at home surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, a daughter Robin Schommer, her parents, her brothers Leslie, Richard and Raymond, and two sisters Kathy and Dorothy.
