Larry's life began May 22, 1953, in Dowagiac, Michigan. He grew up in Cassopolis and then made Watervliet his home the last 20 years.  Larry loved to fill his time outside of work with music and golf. For many years he played in a band Al, Louie, and Larry. Larry enjoyed sharing his love for God through being a worship leader for years. He found great joy in spending time with his family.

Larry leaves behind a large, loving family to cherish his memory including: his wife of 48 years Jeri (Baker) Follett; five children Shawn Follett, Ginnette Chapin, Joe (Leah) Follett, Amy Green, and Ally (Chris) Roberts; 12 grandchildren Taylor (Patrick) Forgo, Joshua Follett, Aliea (Brody) Roland, Kaylee Chapin, Allen Chapin III, Joseph Green, Tristyn Green, Hayden Roberts, Lilly Roberts, Noah Roberts, Behr Follett, and Nola Follett; a great grandchild any day; four siblings Robert (Vicki) Follett Jr, Richard Follett, Ginny (Brian) Harness, and Doug (Sherry) Follett, and several nieces and nephews.

Larry died Tueday, June 25, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Waneta (Clingenpeel) Follett. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Larry's family with cremation and his life will be celebrated at a later date.
