Lewis' life began June 2, 1969, in Benton Harbor. He traveled and lived in California, Florida, Lake Tahoe, and Missouri until settling back in Hartford, where he was raised. Lewis worked at Future Construction. He enjoyed his time spent with his loving family which includes: his wife Cheri whom he married June 9, 2012; step-daughter Danielle Rogers (Balentine Vigil) of Lawton; two grandsons Tom á s and Benito Vigil; his mom Bonnie Jones; two siblings Steven (Julie) Jones of Benton Harbor and Katherine (John) Graham of Otsego; nieces and nephews Anthony Ott, Sherry Ott, Mary Champion, Jody Champion, and Michael Champion; a great niece Page Ott; and many friends.

Lewis died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 4. His dad Lester Jones Precedes him in death. Friends may visit with Lewis' family Sunday, February 8, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
