Linda’s life began March 24, 1948, in St. Joseph, Michigan. She grew up in Benton Harbor where she graduated high school. In her adult years she made her home in Watervliet with her husband Tom. Linda worked for many years as a dispatcher for Benton Township. She also worked in the court house and in security at the Orchards Mall. Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her son John and adopted step daughter Kim. Linda loved going to church at New Beginings Ministries and spending time with her best friends of many years Brenda and Derry Bickers.

Linda will be missed by her family which includes her son John Storey, four stepchildren, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her brother Ronnie (Kay) Williams.

Linda died Saturday, August 15, 2026. at Caretel Inns in St. Joseph. She is preceded in death by her husband Tom Watkins, a sister Carolyn Irwin and her parents Sheldon and Evelyn Williams.

Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, August 20, 2026 starting with visitation at 11:00 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 noon, at Twelve Corners Community Church. Burial will follow in Millburg Cemetery. Hutchins Funeral Home is assisting Linda’s family with arrangements and you are invited to leave a message of comfort.
