Michael's life began March 31, 1952 in Three Rivers, Michigan. He grew up in Watervliet where he happily spent most of his lifetime. Michael worked as a delivery driver for Car Quest for several years. Currently he was enjoying retirement and following the Detroit Tigers and University of Michigan.

Michael is survived by a large loving family including: his four children Rhonda Webb, Paula Brown, Amie Jacobs, and Joey Wieser; six grandchildren Tyler (Shelby) Ledesma, Breana Ledesma, Marissa Rodarte, Anthony Rodarte, Darian Weston, and Melissa Weston; three great grandchildren Isaiah Ledesma, Noah Ledesma, and Ella Ledesma; two siblings Cathi Jacobs and Bobby Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at home surrounded by family. His parents Kenneth and Louise (Howley) Jacobs and a sister Sharon Goodson precede Michael in death. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Michael's family with cremation and a graveside service will be celebrated Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Watervliet.
