Needa's life began December 18, 1932 in Portageville, Missouri.
She spent most of her adult life in Southwest Michigan.
Needa worked at William's Box Factory until retirement.
She enjoyed embroidery, needlepoint, camping, traveling, and trying her luck at casinos.
Needa's greatest joy was spending time with her loving family which includes; three children Rachel Curry, James Modro, and Betty Giovo; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren (soon to be 17); 6 great great grandchildren; a brother Ron (Pam) Atkins; many nieces and nephews; and a special cousin Melissa Hopper.
Needa died Friday, October 30, 2015.
Her husband Rudolph Modro, a son Richard, a grandson Eric Clark, a daughter-in-law Ruth Modro, and her parents Lee and Rachel (Souders) Owens precede Needa in death.
Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet has assisted Needa's family with cremation and her family and friends will gather for a service later.
