Norma's life began September 16, 1931 in Watervliet, Michigan. She grew up in Watervliet where she graduated high school.  In 1947 she met the love of her life Hershell Harris and they married in 1951, enjoying 68 years together.  They made their home in Coloma until 1986 when Florida called their name to enjoy retirement.

Norma loved being a wife and mother to her family which includes: her husband Hershell of Lake Placid, FL; three children Randy Harris of Lake Placid, Carol (Michael) Fulton of Watervliet, and Larry (Gail) Harris of Sebring, FL; four grandchildren Brande VanNiel, Eric Fulton, Adam Harris, and Heath Harris; and two great grandchildren Kade VanNiel and Tanner VanNiel.

Norma died Thursday, May 28, 2020, in Lake Placid, Florida. Her sister Norene Zuchowski and parents LeRoy and Florence (Camp) Arnold precede Norma in death.  A graveside service will be celebrated Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 11:00 AM in Watervliet Cemetery.  Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Norma's family with arrangements.  You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Norma's family.
