Robbie's life began February 2, 1936 in Bald Knob, Arkansas.  When she was a child her dad sold his farm in Arkansas and moved the family to Southwest Michigan where Robbie grew up.  Robbie loved caring for her family, shopping, and spreading the Good Word through being an evangelist minister with the Full Gospel Church.

Robbie's loving family includes: her husband of 58 years Charles Ishmael of Watervliet; four children Richard Ishmael of Watervliet, Kevin Ishmael of Kentucky, Mark Ishmael of Watervliet, and Leah Meyer of Missouri;  grandchildren Aaron, Alyssa, and Tina of Michigan, Heather of Massachusett, Charlene of Kansas, Chelsey and Jacquelyn of Missouri, and Dakota of Michigan; nine great grandchildren; a brother Leo Sliter of Missouri; a half brother Leon Sliter of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Robbie died Tuesday, October 29.  Her parents Chester and Opal (Huff) Sliter, a brother Cliftton Sliter, and two step brothers Luther and Frank precede Robbie in death.  Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.  Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Robbie's family with arrangements.  You may leave a memory of Robbie at hutchinsfuneral.com.
