Robert was born June 6, 1979, in Berrien Center, Michigan. He spent his lifetime in Southwest Michigan. Robert worked as a tire technician for Baroda Tire. When he wasn't working you could find him enjoying a motorcycle ride and enjoying the beauty of his community. Robert's greatest joy was spending time with his daughter enjoying the beauty of Lake Michigan, or caring for their various animals.

Robert leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory including: his loving wife of 22 years Sandra (Turney) Lucas; his daughter Savannah Lucas; five siblings Chad Lucas, Ryan Comer, Jimmy Lucas, Faith Lucas, and Jenna Howard; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert died tragically in a motorcycle accident on May 25, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy Lucas and Linda Comer. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Robert's family with cremation.
