Robbie’s life began on October 19, 1958, in Bitburg, Germany, where his dad was stationed while serving in the Air Force. As a young child, his dad was transferred back to the States, and the family followed his military career to Mississippi and Arkansas. Robbie spent most of his life in Arkansas until he moved to Michigan a few years ago to join his brother.

Robbie was an accomplished electrician who could wire just about anything. He worked for Clark Bradshaw in Arkansas for many years and also worked as an independent contractor at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri for a time. In his retirement, Robbie enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing.

Robbie loved his family, who will cherish his memory, including his brother, Jerry (Lori Mundt) Davis; nephew, Beau Davis; niece, Nichole (Josh) Hilligoss; four step-nieces and nephews, Tiffany Wendt, Crystal Romeo, Amber Hummel, and Daniel Hummel; and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Robbie died Tuesday, September 24, 2026, after a brief illness at Corewell Health in St. Joseph. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Wanda (Hayes) Davis.

Robbie will be laid to rest next to his parents at Smith Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas, with a private graveside service.
