Ron's life began September 20, 1945, in South Haven, Michigan.  He grew up in South Haven where he graduated high school in 1965.  After high school he went to work at Bosch until retirement. Ron loved the outdoors enjoying camping, fishing, and hunting.  He also enjoyed taking drives especially with his driving partners Pita and Dora.

Ron's greatest joy was spending time with his loving family which includes: his wife of 53 years Barbara (Olson) Levine; two daughters Dawn (David) Knuth and Robin (John) Murphy; five grandchildren Zayne, Jakob, Alex, Nathan, and Rachel; three sisters Mildred (David) Suhr, Kathy (George) Musser, and Sue (Tom) Richardson; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs Pita and Dora.

Ron passed peacefully at home sitting on the front porch "watching the world go by" Tuesday, July 2. Friends may visit with Ron's family Friday, July 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Ron will be buried in Fairview Memorial Cemetery in Watervliet with a private family service.  Memorials may be made in Ron's memory to American Heart Association or Diabetes Association.  You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Ron's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
