Rose Marie's life began October 24, 1923, in Covert, Michigan. She was one of 13 children born to John and Mary Franklin. Rose spent her lifetime in Southwest Michigan. She worked as a waitress for years at several different restaurants. Rose's husband Glen was a truck driver and she enjoyed jumping in his truck and traveling with him. In her spare time Rose enjoyed baking, sewing and dancing. She was a beautiful lady and it showed in her love of helping others and she always enjoyed being around people.

Rose leaves behind a brother Victor Franklin, a sister Alice Curtis, a niece that was like a daughter Trena (Don) West and many other nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.

Rose died Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Royalton Manor. Her husband Glen Schilling, parents, and 10 siblings precede Rose in death. Hutchins Funeral Home is assisting Rose's family with cremation and her life will be celebrated in the spring. You are welcome to leave a message of comfort for Rose's family.
