Sergio's life began September 23, 1998, in Berrien Springs.  He grew up in the area, attending Hartford High School.  Sergio loved playing soccer, music and playing play station when he wasn't working at Nature's Way Landscaping.

Sergio leaves behind a loving family which includes; his mom Sandy Rivera, dad Jose Arturo Rivera Castillo, two siblings Yavonne and Jade Rivera, and grandparents Andrea Castillo and Mateo Zendejas.

Sergio died Thursday, June 22, in Tennessee.  His grandparents Maria and Jesus Dominguez precede Sergio in death.  Friends may visit with Sergio's family Wednesday, June 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.  Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, June 29, at 12:00 noon at Road to Life Church in St. Joseph.  You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Sergio's family at hutchinsfuneral.com
