Sigurveig's life began December 27, 1942, in Keflavik, Iceland.  She spent most of her adult life in the United States where she raised three children 'Asta, William, and Chaiyz.  Sigurveig loved spending time with friends and family.  She was a member of the Baroda American Legion Auxillary. Sigurveig leaves behind two children 'Asta (Bruce) White and Chaiyz Brown and a sister Fona Mercenan to cherish her memory.  Sigurveig died Monday, October 22. She is preceded in death by a son William Gracin.
