Teresa A. (Reese) Gettig of Niles, Michigan (formerly of Watervliet) passed away on January 27, 2023.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with visitation at 1:00 PM until time of service, at Hutchins Funeral Home, 209 S. Main Street, Watervliet. Teresa was born on August 2, 1960 to Richard and Donna Reese in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She was a very caring person who loved nursing. She especially adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Reese, her mother, Donna Reese, her brother Richard Reese Jr.

She leaves behind treasured family members: sons Keith (Allison) Snow, Marcus Smith and daughter Sarah Gettig, sister, Karen Reese, brother Sean (Helen) Reese, stepmother Barbara Reese and stepbrothers Scott (Laurie) Moore and Lee Moore, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
