Steve's life began September 28, 1958, in Watervliet. He was a lifetime area resident. Steve worked in customer service for many years but his favorite job was growing vegetables in his greenhouse. Steve also enjoyed filling his time with music, playing his guitar, and especially taking his grandchildren fishing or spending time with all 3 of them.
His greatest joy came in spending time with his loving family which includes: his daughter Melody Craig (James Cook); parents Jerry (Verlyn) Cowgill and Thurl Craig; son Aaron Barton two grandsons Trevor and Isaac Barton; a brother Larry (Victoria) Craig; a sister Mary Craig; his wife Dlorah Craig; three step-children Bryen Wells, Graig Megna, and Leiloni Wells; a step-grandchild Leila Wells; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Steve died Thursday, March 6, at home surrounded by family. His brother Donald Craig precedes him in death. Funeral services will be celebrated
