Jon was born March 9, 1959, in Watervliet, Michigan to Bud and Frieda (Paul) Bisnett. He grew up in Watervliet where he graduated high school in 1977. Jon was an entrepreneur at heart, he worked as a sales man for most of his life most recently for Miller Thermometer Company. He was a long time reporter for the Tri-City Record. Music was a constant in his life from playing an instrument, to encouraging his boys talents, to being the sound guy for bands most recently The Unknowns. He was forever evolving through his love of learning and gathering knowledge. Jon will be remembered for being passionate for everything his boys showed an interest, always eager to supply them with the tools to be successful. Above everything Jon was so happy to be a grandpa.

Jon leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory including his wife of 41 years Susan (Kirner) Bisnett, two sons RJ Bisnett (Lindsey O'Neil) and Bradley Bisnett (Piper Reinhardt), and his grandson Atticus.

Jon died Saturday, December 17. A memorial service will be celebrated Wednesday, December 21, at 5:00 PM with visitation prior starting at 3:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet. Memorials may be made in Jon's name to Hartford Public Schools Foundation for Quality Education. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Jon's family.
