William's life began August 11, 1958 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a hardworking man who found himself in Michigan and decided to call it home. He worked in construction, landscaping, and on local farms. William could fix anything and he loved to ride his Harley. William's greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. His loving family includes: four children Julena Morris (Jacob Wilkins) Joshua Morris (Shari Boettinger), Laurann Raymond, and Arica Raymond (John Naumann); three grandsons Haedin Lee William Bryant, Logan Kieth Wilkins, and Austin Boettinger; four siblings LeRoy, Dickey, Theresa K, and Jena Lee; and many nieces and nephews.

William died in a motorcycle accident while saving his daughter's life Saturday, May 24. He is preceded in death by his parents  Curly and Lourdeen Raymond, and three siblings Billy Ray, Ernest, and Jackie.  Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, May 30, at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet.
