Betty’s life began January 11, 1938, in Missouri. She spent most of her lifetime in Southwest Michigan where she raised a large loving family. Betty’s pride and joy was her seven children and their large families. She enjoyed crafting, baking, and caring for others. Betty’s door was always open and you never left her house hungry. She would help anyone and never met a stranger. When having cookouts the neighborhood children sometimes could be found making themselves part of the family and jumping in line to enjoy Betty’s good food.
Betty leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory including; five children Billy Herron, David (Barb) Herron, Donna (Darnell) Simpson, Ruth Jones, and Mary (Charles) Quinn; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild; a brother Ernie Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty died Sunday, March 6, 2022, at home surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by: three husbands Richard Herron, L.C. Morgan, and Jim Thomas; two sons Danny Herron and Roger Herron; a daughter-in-law Barb Herron; a son-in-law Kelly Jones; her parents Clint and Addie Harrison; and two siblings Nick Harrison and Patsy Jones.
