Obituary

Charles’ life began November 10, 1930, in Arkansas. Charles moved to Watervliet to work at the paper mill and instead went to work as a welder at Garden City Fan and Blower in Niles. He and his wife Mary made their home in Watervliet and raised their four children. Charles enjoyed trying his luck with playing the lottery, watching the movie American President, playing with technology, and his daily walks to Sidetrack Cafe.

 

Charles loved his family which includes; his three children Joyce (Vick) Kinzler, Stephanie Andrews, and Charles (Phyllis) Andrews, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchilren. Charles died Saturday, October 15, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Andrews, a son Robert Andrews, and his parents Edgar and Audry Andrews.

 

Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Charles’ family with cremation. His family will celebrate his life with a gathering Monday, November 7, 2022, starting at 4:00 PM at Arclight Brewing Company in Watervliet.
