Eileen’s life began September 11, 1969, in South Bend, Indiana. She spent her childhood growing up in the South Bend Area where she graduated from St. Joseph High School in South Bend. After high school Eileen continued her education at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Art. She loved to sing and in high school was in several musicals.
Eileen enjoyed painting, drawing, cooking, singing, acting and music. She was part of a large loving family which includes: her parents James and Eleanor (Imbelloni) Rauner; five brothers John Rauner, Peter (Kim) Rauner, Joseph Rauner, Paul Rauner, and David (Heather) Rauner; three sisters Therese (Nick) Guntz, Gina (Greg) Grear, and Maria (Edward) Dahn; and 22 nieces and nephews. Eileen traveled extensively but always came home. The family takes comfort that in the end Eileen was with her partner, Joseph Stovall, who made her happy.
Eileen’s life will be celebrated Friday, November 3, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church in Hartford, Michigan. Hutchins Funeral Home in Watervliet is assisting Eileen’s family with arrangements. You are invited to leave a message of comfort for Eileen’s family at hutchinsfuneral.com.
