Michael’s life began September 11, 1969, in St. Joseph, Michigan. After high school Michael proudly served his country as a United States Marine, where he met his wife Tijen in 1991. After serving in the Marine Corps Michael lived in Texas for 29 years and had two amazing children Nicholas and Nicole. Michael then returned home to Michigan in 2019, continuing his career as a computer system engineer. Michael was very giving, kind, and friendly person. He selflessly always put others before him self especially his children. Michael was a talented musician, song writer and proudly recorded and produced music. Outside of music Michael enjoyed playing golf, drawing, playing video games and watching movies.
Michael was a family man and leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory including: two children Nicholas (Kayline) Pratl and Nicole Pratl; granddaughter Violet Pratl; parents Marjorie and James Pudell; three siblings Michelle Stanisci, Steven (Heather) Pudell, and Ellen Sweet; and six nieces and nephews Ashleigh, Joey, Caleb, Colbe, Gwendolyn, and Meredith.
Michael died Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph. Hutchins Funeral Home is assisting Michael’s family with cremation. Saturday, January 29, 2022, friends may gather with Michael’s family for visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Hutchins Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Michael’s family in care of Nicholas Pratl.
